I discovered the forum last week and wondered what had taken me so long as already it's proving to be very helpful. Instrumental teaching can be an isolating business and it's good to exchange ideas/laughs/occasional moans!
I trained ages ago in the late 1980's - music degree at Hull first followed by a PGCE specialising in Primary Music at Reading, then did five years as a primary school teacher. I was diagnosed with M.E. in 1995 and had ten years when I was unable to work at all, then launched into a second career teaching piano/theory. It means I can work from home and pace myself but still enjoy sharing music with others.
Looking forward to getting to know people!
