I vish to zee your pepers.
Of course those of us who are really sad, who hang around on railway stations and in organ lofts, (and who wear anoraks

) remember our ASCI codes, so we don't need the letters on the keyboard.
If you hold down the Alt key, and then enter 097 on the numeric keyboard you will be rewarded with the letter 'a'. Alt 098 gives you letter 'b', and so forth until you get to Alt 122, which is 'z'.
If you need upper case letters, simply use Alt 065 (A) through to Alt 090 (Z).
This system also makes it easy to use non-standard or foreign characters, which are not included in standard British keyboards; for example:
Alt 0181 = ? (Backwards u or Micron symbol)
Alt 0176 = ? (Degrees)
Alt 234 = Ω (Omega or Ohms)
(Some of these may not display properly on the forum.)
