Basic question..

Past exam papers have 4 sections. A B C and S, ~ how many sections will there be in my exam next month?
Little Elf
A, B, C and S are separate exam papers which cover the entire year of examinations. A is the paper set in the spring session, B is the summer session, C is the autumn session, and S is a extra one used for international candidates.

Your exam paper will only consist of the 5 or 6 questions that come under one of those sections

Very occasionally an 'S' paper is used instead of one of the others in the UK too. smile.gif

There are seven questions on the exam. Each of them carry a maximum of 10 points except question 1, and the melody writing questions which are a maximum of 15 points. At least that is how it was two years ago when I took it, and on all the back papers I looked at.

It should be reasonably clear from the fact that each successive exam in the booklet has a new title, a different date and the question numbering starts again from 1! rolleyes.gif
