I am looking for a couple of pieces for this combination thinking there would be loads to choose from but find that there is not much at all. Has any one got any good ideas? The brass players are fairly competent and the choir is quite capable of tackling most things.

Some (one?) of the Bruckner motets requires trombones plus choir.

There should be material by composers such as Gabrielli, Schutz, Monteverdi - probaby settings of the Magnificat, Psalms, Contiones Sacrae, madrigals or similar.

This material is often polychoral in nature, for three or four choirs, but some of the choirs are often choirs of instruments.

Have a look and see what is available on CPDL

EDIT: Just remembered, the Rutter Gloria can be played with organ, brass and percussion.

Isn't "O clap your hands" by RVW for such a combination - or perhaps the organ part is an arrangement of the brass parts.

There are various Te Deum settings I think from around 1900ish that are for choir, brass and organ too thinking about it (RVW????). Weren't some written for Three Choirs Festival???
