Careful, you'll soon have a great swell of people tutting at your posts on principal. Well, at least a couple might register a request for you to pipe down anyway.

Forum users demand real answers, but have been assured that counterpoint measures are in place in case of exposition.
OK, I'll stop now.....

sorry Nat I'm here to knock you out of the spotlight. I was -392 when I took mine.
You shouldn't have added "<" in most of the numbers, like what Rhapsodin said.

I voted for <19.
It would be interesting to do some sort of analysis about age and when ie 1960s, 1970s 1980s etc the exam was taken. I wonder whether it would vary according to the "era" at all.

How would you answer this poll if you passed it at the age of 21 exactly?

(I have no grade 8s so of course I am instead fully qualified to pick holes in the question!)

I was 17. I started when I was 9. Wished I'd done it slightly younger, so that it didn't get in the way of A levels, which definitely suffered as a result.
I took it in 1981. (I don't know what the stats were like back then, but very few people played the piano at school. I was the only one in my year group to pass Grade 8, although I was aware of other children locally at private schools who had taken it as young as 13).

I was (and am) 24, started when I was 13. I took a 3 year break between 2006 and 2009 and then pretty much picked up where I left off, working towards Grade 5.
