Heard on the news today that Maurice Andre has gone to duet with Gabriel. (Can't find a smiley for "waaaaah")

I always thought that with a lip like that he must have been one h*ll of a good kisser ph34r.gif

(I suspect my other half thinks the same about Alison Balsom...) biggrin.gif

MA and Telemann - a formidable combination, near ecstasy

One of the very best trumpeters there has been. I have a CD of him playing various Concertos, double tracking for the Vivaldi Double Concerto , and an amazing performance of the Michael Haydn Concerto. Its till one of my favourite CD's. He will be sadly missed.
Id rather kiss Alison though !

Very sad. One of my best friends specialises in Baroque trumpet....couldn't possibly say whether he's a good kisser though..... rolleyes.gif

RIP, Maurice.
