What footwear do you use for piano practice / lessons? I am getting quite frustrated because my shoes have developed a squeak, despite being well worn in, and my trainers also squeak.

What do other people do about squeaks?

At home I practice wearing moccasin slippers which have a reasonably stiff plastic sole. If I'm playing elsewhere, I'm usually wearing shoes with a rubber sole. Neither of these squeak.
