Managed to get my theory one done but the practical one hung at the "card verifying" stage. I think it's gone through but maybe it hasn't! Have emailed the board as have to go and get little one from pre-school in 5 minutes!

Not the best day for the system to crash...

Will have a set of disappointed candidates if they find they haven't got submitted but don't want to go through the whole process again (and pay again!) if it has gone through in reality.

Does anyone know how quickly they respond to emails?

I had the same problem last weekend, same thing happened you describe at the same point. Did you get the confimation email that the entry has been received? I did, rang the Board and they said it had gone through ok- couldn't explain why the card verifying bit hung!

I had the same problem this morning but it went through at the second attempt - I have now had the confirmation email...

I think that as long as you get the confirmation e-mail it's gone through OK. If not (and mine came almost instantly), I'd ring the Board. I shouldn't worry too much though - I'm sure they'll be totally understanding if it's a technical error.

I would ring rather than e-mail though.

I would ring them before the end of the day to make sure - especially if today the last day for entries. I don't have any pupils doing exams this session, so I'm not sure when the closing date is.

I did a practical one last night ok - about 9 pm. I still have a theory one to do (not going to wait much longer to hear from one parent!) so fingers crossed for that. But the larger one is done. Good luck to those still having problems.

Rang them and have also received a reply to my email. The entry has been received thankfully, but she did advise to check whether my card had been debited more than once!

Well that's good. At least the day's deadline is not now a worry!
