Has anyone noticed that the speed of the staccato thirds for grade 6 piano - seems a little fast! The minimum speed as stated in the syllabus is minum = 76. My pupil and I have noticed that the staccato scale in thirds of C major - is taken at the same speed as other scales. Is it a misprint or do we just have to get these up to speed!

Do you feel that one handed staccato thirds are a bit trickier than ordinary scales? These are to be taken as hands separately, according to the syllabus.

Or have I completely misunderstood the requirements?

My copy of the grade 6 scales has staccato scale in thirds at minim = 52. The hands separately staccato scales are minim = 76 so maybe you got them mixed up.
