Just out of interest - are the advanced members people who have done/are doing the CT course?

I did the Ct course 2 years ago and am not an advanced member - being an advanced member seems to be down to the number of posts you have sent, am I right?

Yes I agree! After you have submitted 10 posts you become a 'member' instead of a 'newbie'. I haven't worked out when you become advanced...yet!

That must be right. I found I was an advanced member, much to my surprise, after a few weeks.
It must be the number of posts - I haven't done the CT course.

I definately think it is the number of posts that you've sent. Almost seems a bit silly, as you would think that you're status would depend upon how long you've been a member. What do you think?

its a normal kind of thing on forums to rank according to number of posts.
One that I use you start as semiquaver and move up from there.
Think you can work out the other rankings

I'm a bit of a forum addict (as you've all probably realised). I get attached to a forum and don't leave for a few years... I suspect I'll be here permanently though.

At this rate though, I'll be on 1000 posts by the end of the summer. Maybe I'll get a congratulatory letter from the AB... or a 'cease and desist' note
