QUOTE(jill @ Jan 15 2006, 07:34 PM)

Anyone ever been caught up in football violence before? Having watched my team (Gillingham) beat Swindon yesterday, I left the ground to walk back to my car and was suddenly faced with about 500 fans running at me, it seems Swindon fans are bad losers. I am a 29 year old female and go to footie on my own. Have to say it was the scariest moment of my life. There happened to be a (empty) police car right where I was so I crouched down behind and tried not to be seen. Had it not been there I would have been swept off my feet for sure.
Anybody who gets involved in football violence is scum. I am passionate about my team but yesterday was beyond joke. Kent Police should be ashamed of themselves, they were useless.
Feel better for having got that off my chest, thank you!!
yup footie violence is bad still in some clubs. usually its still just in the derby games tho.
