Full Version: Where To Buy Xylophone

Can anyone suggest where I could buy a reasonably priced xylophone for my kids to use at home? We want one similar to the wooden ones they have at school, maybe smaller because of price, but those seem to be at least £100 on the websites I've looked on. I was thinking of maybe £30 max., preferably less. I don't know anything about them and it's just for fun.

Hi Ellie, I'm afraid you probably won't find any decent chromatic xylophones for under £100. If a small diatonic instrument would do, then check out www.knockonwood.co.uk

Also, does it have to be a xylophone, because you can pick up a new and reasonable quality chromatic glockenspiel for under £30. Take a look at www.starland.co.uk

Hope that helps! smile.gif
