I found out the other day that my teacher got 150 for grade 3 violin when she was about 8

Do they EVER give 150?
I took part in the first Cambridge Grade-One-A-Thon which raised ?55,000 for a children's hospice charity. 150 music teachers had to undertake to pass AB grade 1 on an instrument they had no prior experience of. Everyone passed (everyone who turned up, that is - I suspect there were quite a few no-shows) and the scarier part was the big orchestral concert we had to play afterwards.
I got 127 for my trumpet - SO nervous! some of my notes juddered. And I lost three marks for a note-perfect sight-reading because he said there was too much vibrato (maybe I
like mariachi?) I was gutted as there were so many distinctions. So gutted that I took grade 2 the following term to get 137.
However, the highest that any of them got was 147. And these were experienced professional musicians. So I hope you can pardon my scepticism
