Is there a facility to see who is online? I know you can see byt he on/off tabs by peoples' names but can you see it collectively?
Like x number of people are online:
user 1
user 2 etc

Not that I have found, although when you sign in it does ask if you want to be added to the active users list...........

The software which runs the board almost certainly has the facility but it has probably been disabled so it doesn't show. This might be to avoid "stalking" or suchlike.

One facility I'd like is "Ignore Thread". This is available on most boards, and allows you to click a button on a thread to suppress its display, which is useful when they are of no interest to you, particularly when using the "View New Posts" link.

That would be brilliant: I find the news quite distressing and when someone posts a thread with a horrible disaster in the title I really would like to be able to not see it every time I come to the forum to be reminded about it .

It shows whether you're "off" or "on" on your card, but you'd have to find a post with whichever user you were looking for.

Sometimes, I can't even seem to log off right, sometimes I find myself logged in already.

Isn't that something to do with cookies?

I set mine on my home computer so that I'm always logged in..makes things easier! At schoo i sign in and sometimes im already logged in too but i dont mind..its not like someone else is likely to pose as me...not many people go on this..

I don't think there is...but that's a good idea for the website instead of reading lots of people's profiles...
