heya,
when i try to sing high notes of a song, i can do the thing where u lift the soft fleshy bit of the roof of ur mouth up and back and my voicebox goes down, (a bit), and i can do high notes, but when im singing along with something, it doesnt sound the same as the person im singing along with (on cd). And when i turn the music off it just sounds like a girl screaming,
Im a boy btw, if that helps. lol
help?
tmint
no one ever sounds the same as the person they're trying to sound like when singing. you've got your own individual voice. be pround. i found when first i started to sing along to a cd that i had to listen to the song loadsa times before i tried singing it and its easier if you know the words without even thinking about them or have them in front of you. you're lucky to be able to do high notes. pick a track where the person singing is using a voice range which you're comfortable with and sing along til you're sick to death of it and never want to sing it again (you always will go back to it though if you like it). i find it's really important that the song i'm singing is suited to my voice. is your cd-singer a man or a woman? and how old are you?
