I've done musical theatre in the past, and I've also done my school's musical productions. Isn't it so spectacular? The dancing part is sometimes tricky...the choreography often has a lot of jazz and Broadway...I am a ballet dancer though, so the coordination helps.

Also, if you like musical theatre, you should definitely go see Broadway sometime in New York City. My favorite musicals are Fiddler on the Roof and Wicked, both of which I saw there. It might not be too convenient though, but it's a lovely experience...

I love being in Musicals! It is my absolute passion! But it's pretty hard to find a part for a 14-year-old girl in my community theater company.
Oh, well, I'm working on it!

Gertrude? That's an older part... nobody here ever does peter pan, and my voice part isn't right for Eponine... i am very likely to get the part of Bet this summer.. we'll see!!!

(reply to christina) Me? Im most of them i didn't have a named part, but everyone is in the whold show all the time. In Godspell, I did a duet with another girl for 'On the Willows', but i didn't have a main/named part. I don't mind what kind of part i get, i just like doing it and being with people who have the same interests...

Also, I have just done a show at Peterborough cathedral with my drama group about the history of peterborough. We're going to be doing shortened productions of it in other places too. I am currently rehearsing for the sound of music at my school, for which i am 1 of the Sister Sophia's (there are 2 casts) and 1 of the Frau Schmidt's.
