A quick question...

For the chromatic scales in similar motion, hands together a minor third apart, beginning on any note named by the examiner...

If the examiner asks you to start on Eb, does this mean the left hand or right hand is on the Eb? If he means the left hand is on the Eb, then the right hand is on the F#, or if he means the right hand is on the Eb, then the left hand is on the C.

Will the examiner clarify this?

Perhaps those who have done this can clear this up for me.

It's like the other scales a third apart: for C major a third apart, the left hand starts on C and the right on E; for a chromatic scale a (minor) third apart starting on C, the left hand gets the C and the right hand Eb.

The examiner may ask for a chromatic scale starting on 'C and Eb' to avoid confusion, however.
