I am currently listening to a Richard Clayderman cd, I enjoy playing along with the flute, and I try to play along with the piano too sometimes! Does anyone else like his music?
If not what are eveyone's favourite modern pianists??

Yes I am at Uni, in London. Yes for my dissertation I am analysing music from trailers, adverts etc. I am loving it!
I play piano(main instrumet), flute, clarinet, guitar and am getting a violin Monday. Im having a mad year, I have recently taken on music a level, am studying my final year at uni, (its all go at the minute) and I am also focusing on my guitar, clarinet and flute, hoping to take grades soon, and will be doing violin soon too. It's the year for cramming in this year!
Oh yes, and Im also doing grade 6 theory, preparing for it anyway, and am looking into do doing a dipabrsm in piano performing, or teaching not sure yet, thats why I'm preparing Chopin's Fantasie Impromptu at the moment for it if I'm able to play it for the exam!
So I have a busy summer ahead but it will be good, as music is all I live for ( and my boyfriend of course) !!
What do you play? Are you at uni too??

It's still all good fun though.
My bros get fed up of me playing flute, cos I'm practicing the high notes up to g right now, and they hate it, as sometimes they come our a bit duff!

I've had a flute around my house for six years, or there abouts, but have only recenlty seriously taken it up properly, about 6 - 8 weeks ago, something like that, I'm hoping to do grade 3 in the summer. Must admit, I get more good soudning high notes than i used to so I must be doing something right!
How long you been playing? have you got any grades?

Have you done any flute exams before grade 3? I haven't, it's my first one, argh!! Never mind. If you get a duff few notes on the day do you get marked down quite a bit! I think nerves will be make me play a few funny notes so im not looking forwardto that!

Why has this gone off the original topic?
My favourite concert pianist has to be Mitsuko Uchida. The way she plays Mozart, for example, is near sublime.
But my all time idol is Alfred Brendel and always will be.
