I am a cellist about grade 7 standard and I am playing in a masterclass with William Bruce tomorrow and I am very scared!

Does anyone have any useful advice? Thanks a lot.

Eating a banana beforehand has recently been suggested here.
Enjoy the masterclass - if you prepare some questions beforehand that might be useful.

Hiya,
When you go to the masterclass, enjoy yourself, ask questions if you need to, smile, and remember that there are probably a lot more people who are feeling nervous!
If you think you can't play something if there is a group piece, just try and get the first beat of every bar in place!
Have fun!

You'll love this place!
No help apart from eating a banana I'm afraid. I still have to test if that works.

Hi, first of all, welcome to the forum. You'll love it here!
Secondly, eat a banana.

Half an hour before it is due to start.

PS.
By the way, whenever I have to speak in public (solo) as required by my previous job, I make it a habit to adopt a RELAXED body language and to maintain that open stance. It definitely helped me then. There's no point telling yourself things like - Try to relax or try not to worry as these hardly ever work but body language does most times. It's a "cause and effect" thing. Consider it.

Welcome!
I think I had William Bruce as a judge for a competition last year. If I'm thinking of the same man, he's really nice and funny! You'll have fun!
whoops i just realised that you posted that yesterday so you're doing the cello thing today! I hope it was good!
