in other forums like music general, diploma, and all that the topics just appear and then stop and more are posted in these forums (music general etc) a day than in a week here in the cafe were threads just boom into 100 page threads whereas in the music general the topics reach 64 replys i wonder why

Yes because we like to chill out after a hard day's practice or music work. So we don't talk about music as much as we post in the cafe. biggrin.gif

Probably because the other forums are specifically about music where members can enquire or opine on musical issues, where general chat isn't encouraged. The scope and range of posts per topic is more limited than on this forum which is about general chat. People are bound by the common interest in music and particularly grade exams and diplomas, so they just chat about anything, (while knowing most posters are doing something musical).
