Yes, I still want to say kittens. Here's my new baby, Molly, who looks like and angel, but is currently taking all the paper out of my waste bin....

I'm with YAP on this one, sorry, and how could anyone not love that adorable kitten! AWWWWWWWWWWWW!
Emma C
Oooo how do you get them small!!! Sorry...
sarah-flute
Emma! Oh she's gorgeous!!
zauberfagott
Kittens!

But ducklings do come close. Kittens look cute on their own, but ducklings look cuter when they're with other ducklings or with Mum.

Emma C
Yes, she is, but then I'm a bit biassed!
GoneChopinBachSoon
Ducklings because they're just so small and fragile

Kittens because they're fun to play with tongue.gif

Ducklings! That child was soooo cute! And I don't like cats.

Dogs are slightly better, but I still prefer ducklings
sarah-flute
Jane, managed to look at them both but not on here. Weird.

Cute piccies, both! biggrin.gif

She looks as confused as I felt earlier!

(Actually I think she was hungry and was trying to make a point....)

Can someone tell me how to make smaller pictures? I aparently resized this to 25% in photobucket, but it didn't seem to make any difference!!!

ducklings!! I love it in the spring when our ducks hatch ducklings. They're so sweet, covered in yellow fluff and making these cute little chirpy noises!
chocolatedog
Sorry, has to be puppies!! Sorry I don't know how to post piccies - but if you saw my puppy pics from yellow dog and the real chocolate dog you'd probably agree! smile.gif
Emma C
I'd love a chocolate dog.... might have to settle for a chocolate kitten (one day....)
jazzywench
all this talk about chocolate is making me hungry!!
sarah-flute
JW, laugh.gif I was just thinking the same!
Scatty Peanut
how do you put pictures in your messages? I was going to put one of each (a duckling and a kitten) in on my first email thingy but I dont know how to do them!this is still a tough decision! maybe we need to extend the cuteness opinion poll to include puppies. its so hard, I see a kitten and I think ahhhhh isnt that cute but then I see a duckling or indeed a puppie and go equally as mushy!

FunkyBassoon
i say ducklings, everyone has kittens and they scratch you, whereas ducklings are simply...AWWWWWWWWWW and unusual! tongue.gif
kmt63
If forced to choose its got to be ducklings. But everything comes second to piglets!
mrbouffant
Anything feline automatically gets the thumbs down. OK, they look cute as kittens but remember they turn into horrible cats ohmy.gif

As for ducklings, their sole role in life, IMHO, is to grow up to keep me in a healthy supply of Aromatic Crispy Duck smile.gif

I don't eat duck myself, but to avoid upsetting people who think ducks are cute but visit Chinese restaurants I colloquially refer to mallards as 'ducks', and to other ducks as 'eating ducks'. I grew up opposite a canal, which has a good supply of mallards and the odd swan. I think the shiny richly-coloured feathers on drakes are wonderful smile.gif. In the spring, I can stand at my bedroom window and spot the ducklings swimming in formation on the canal.

Having said that, I've seen mallard in the game section of a local supermarket, next to venison, pheasant and guinea fowl; with a label stating 'Warning: May contain lead shot'.
