i just got distinction in my grade 8 violin and im so unbelivabley happy! biggrin.gif i worked really hard and spent every spare minute practicing because it was so important to me. but now that im done im kinda lost at what to do cuz i looked up all about the diplomas on the internet and i dont really want to do something so hard so soon! does anyone know what your suposed to do after grade 8 to keep yourself motivated??!also , i thought the examiner was suposed to have a copy of the music infront of him but he didnt, and marked me down on one of my pieces for speeding up a lot even though thats what it said to do??

The examiner only asks for a copy of the music for singing exams - which is of course fair, because the person taking the exam isn't allowed their copy - so the examiner has it instead.

You have to remember that examiners aren't infallible, just like the rest of us.
