Having had such a super day with violinia and Sarah-Flute recently, I now at last have my "fiddle wizard" book. biggrin.gif

In the book it mentions also the fiddlewizard website and of course I had to have a browse, and I found that there is a great "listen on line" radio station there playing non-stop jazz violin. I have it playing in the background now.

Yay Cool cool.gif Great cool.gif

click here then click on PLAY

Ooooh I hadn't investigated the links on there properly yet!! Good find, Jane smile.gif

Does anyone know if there are any good fm or DAB jazz stations by the way? I know there's jazz sometimes on radio 3.

Hoping this station works somewhat from my computer with the slow connection - can but try!! biggrin.gif

Ohhh this track sounds like us jammin'......well a bit anyway laugh.gif
sarah-flute
Only not as good, right? wink.gif

I can't make it work - think my connection is just too slow. Will have to send the link to friends with broadband and then listen at their houses... biggrin.gif

Will send the link to friends up the road and then beg them for a listen... smile.gif

I know there are some Stephane Grapelli (spelling??!) & Django Reinhardt tapes at my mum's, need to look them out!

Could always play along (or try to wink.gif) with the Didier Wossname (no memory today!) bits of the Maxim SB show!! biggrin.gif

Lockwood.....doesn't sound very French does it

Turtle Island String Quartet on now.....Fantastic, I have to buy some of this stuff (have to stop saying stuff) its sort of Vivaldi-ish but Jazz, sort of derived from the Four Seasons. YAY!!!

*Jane logs on to Amazon looking for Turtle Island String Quartet*

Ahhh Lockwood. I almost typed Lockhart and then realised that's a character from Harry Potter... rolleyes.gif laugh.gif I thought it was lock-something, but no, it doesn't sound very French!
