I'm interested in starteing to play the flute but was wondering what was the best to get, im on a bit of buget but am not really sure which make to go for.

Some good advice on this in the general discussion forum - look there.

my flute teacher says the yamaha flutes are the best, the 211 to start with then the 311 when u get a bit more advanced (grade 4/5ish plus). the 311 is quite expensive tho, so if u can't afford it, buy a trevor james.
