Here's something interesting : the X Factor results show by show...

Interesting that throughout the early shows, Eoghan was the most popular act.
It's also interesting that Scott was the 2nd most popular act in the first show, and also Daniel (only just) beat Alexandra ohmy.gif

Yay for alexandra, she totally deserved to win!

Yes, agreed, any other result would have been a travesty, and her duet with Beyonce was something special. What is it with all the crying, though? Eoghan was impressively dry eyed (unlike the previous week, at the loss of Diane), but I do wish Alexandra would get a grip.

And does anyone understand what the words of Hallelujah are actually about? ( Compare and contrast Whiter Shade of Pale).

Ah thanks to youtube I managed to see all the songs and the results. I think Alexandra did deserve to win but I'm not sure I like all the theatrical crying/ saying she'll "fight to the end, and people who stand in her way will have to go" (she said that in the semi-final) - I do think she should lose some of the attitude, it's not endearing. But she does sing well and I'm glad she won!

The X-factor has begun once again. What are your opinions on the new auditions format?

Personally, I preferred the old traditional 'behind-closed-doors' method. It's like Britain's Got Talent, but without the buzzers...

yeah, tend to agree, it seems to have lost the personal touch.

I agree, I keep expecting them to hit the buzzers.
