I'm considering playing this for my Grade 8 and wondered if anyone else had chosen it. Any tips for that scary looking last page and a half. Lots of pedal I assume. I love the music and now almost feel slightly obliged to do this one as the music cost a fortune ! This French stuff costs the earth - it was £21.60 or something like. Why are French music publishers SO expensive ?

I love Poulenc! Although my dad and I used to nickname him Plonkety-Plonk as one of the duets we played by him had some wonderful discords in it - massive fistfuls of notes you didn't know if you were playing them all correctly or not!!
