Hi. I was just wondering if u think it is important 2 do quite a few theory exams instead of just Grade 5. I haven't done any before now, but I am just about 2 do Grade 5.
Do you think it is easier 2 do quite a few so then you will know more by the time you have 2 do harder ones?

Well, I think you should at least tongue.gif try to work through all the books, but there's no need to actually sit the exams if you only want to rush through to get the Grade 5 exam done. I did the Grade 1, 2, 4 and 5 exams but that was only because my theory teacher had a policy of entering her pupils for most of the exams. I suppose by the time I got to Grade 5 I was used to the theory exam situation, but other than that I don't think it was any benefit, and did cost quite a lot!

As Hgirl says, no you don't need to do them all.
Depends partly on your age too I think.
If you are part way through secondary school then just doing grade 5 after working through the other grades to get there should be no problem.
If you are younger then doing at least one of the earlier grades may be a good move to get you used to the exam room situation.
