Well I have finally got my result for grade 7 flute back, I passed with 111.

Compared to some people's destinctions I supose this doesn't sound much, but I'm still pleased(ish) with the result, particlarly as I got my highest mark ever out of thirty for one of my pieces.

No suprises on the aural tests I failed, with 10, but I can't believe he even gave me that many!! The funniest thing was that the two things I truely guessed on (and I mean not even educatd guess, I mean taking a random pick of the first things that came into my head) were the two bits I actually got right!! I can't believe my luck!!

I was a bit disappointd with my scales, (15) but still, things should be better for grade 8 as there aren't nearly so many new ones to learn. While I think about it, does anyone out there know how I can stop my top notes coming out really shrill. I wince everytime I hit top c!

Anyone else had recent results? I'd be interested to know how everyone else has gotten/gets on...

Hi! I got my Grade 3 Sax results back 2day and got a distinction with 130! I'm really pleased because I thought i'd done really badley. Well done 2 everyone who passed their exams!

well done anyway... dunn worry about ur oral...i failed my oral when i did my piano grade 8 three years ago and i still managed to pass... anyway, i passed my singing grade 8 with a merit, without failing my oral.... and my friend passed her grade 6 violin with a distinction..
