when i play the 3rd variation of Mozart's sonata in A both the right and left hand are playing constant semiquavers.the problem is that my right hand decides to go faster than my left and i end up getting all muddled up and lost!! rolleyes.gif

Slow it down.
Do lots of slow practice until they come together naturally.

i will try that!

Are you playin it just for fun, or because you've got to learn it for your As???
Coz i started playing it to learn it but now i'm enjoyin it!!! laugh.gif

definitely play it slower natalie, and also work on your left hand. it's clear from what you write that you know the right hand part better than your left hand part. try doing variations with your left hand - 4notes fast, 4note slow, alternating.. or 2 fast, 2 slow.. or dotted rhythm. do that until you're perfectly certain in your left hand. then, try them together. by bringing both hands to the same level, your right hand and left hand should play at the same speed. good luck ! biggrin.gif
