Does anyone know if it is OK to play a different version for Eastenders (Grade 2). The syllabus suggests using clarinets basics but I have a version in Making the Grade for Clarinet Grade 1. Thanks

I replied to this on the other forum. The clarinet basics version goes over the break and is more difficult than the version in making the grade... So no is the answer.

Thanks. What pieces would you recommend for grade 2?

I haven't got the syllabus to hand but I have been looking for grade2 pieces that don't go over the break. Music Though Time Book One has an A list piece - can't quite remember the name and Lewin's Starter for Clarinet has a study the "Celebration Dance" which I rather like. Hope that helps.
