Would anyone tell me from 2005, would the board release the result with the 2 examination mark forms to the candidate or just 1 as previous?

As far as I know, there is only 1 mark form to be sent to the candidate before 2005.

As the mark form is the handwritten notes of the examiner from the day, I doubt you'd get two.
Or have I interpreted your question incorrectly - do you mean two copies, or separate forms for each section?

Hi Fen,

I mean the two examiners would have their comments written in 2 seperate mark forms in the exam. Would this 2 forms be sent back to the candidate? Or just the one from the lead (specialist)?

By the way, I noticed that the layout of mark form is totally different from previous sessions...

Hi....I just did my DipAB in August & got the results last month (Singapore). I received only 1 mark form. I do not know if the comments are from 1 examiner or both, but both examiners did signed at the bottom of the form. Could 1 of them copy both examiners' comments into one ?

In the pre-2005 exams there was only one sheet of exam comments written and that was written by the specialist examiner and signed by both (with both presumably discussing what marks would be reasonable). I haven't seen anything in the 2005 syllabus to suggest things would be done differently; have you seen something to make you think that there will be two mark sheets?

I sat the DipABRSM in 2005 and got an A3 mark sheet (ie 2x A4 sheets). One side was comments on the recital and the other side was comments for section 2.1 and 2.2 (quick study, viva voce and programme notes).

Thank you very much!

I just listened to my student that she saw the examiners both wrote comments on their individual mark form. As far as I know, there would only be one mark form released from the board. Therefore I queried her but was assured after showing her what a real mark form is for the pre-2005 diploma exam.

She told me the mark forms are A4 size with recital part only occupied half of the paper. The rest is for comments of viva voce and quick study. I told her it would not be the case in 2004 or before.

After you all told me only one mark form would be released, I now realise there would have ratifications been taken before any release of result. So that the comments would be re-written again by the same examiner(s).

Hello,

I think the idea with the two examiners is that they mark the examination independently, then produce a combined result in the form of the single mark sheet.

It should be one mark sheet for any diploma exams. 2 Examiners, one is the expert of your examed instrument and the other may not be.
