The corks on my cornet mute are worn down and I wanted to replace the corks rather thatn buy a new mute but i don't know where to get some from. Does anyone know where i can buy some corks from?

I had the same problem with my cup mute. I couldn't find any corks for mutes so bought a thinish cork tile and made my own to fit the mute Sounds daft I know, but it worked and wasn't expensive
But it would be interesteing to know if you can buy corks specifically for mutes.

you should be able to buy corks and cork tiles from places such as trevada music, and off the internet
