Try doing syncopated scales e.g. for a scale of C major you would do left hand c, right hand c, LH d, RH d, LH e, RH e etc. Start off with just one octave, working up to however many octaves you need to do. Do it slowly at first, then work up speed. Make sure you keep it very rhythmic. When you do it slowly use arm action to bounce up from the keys. As you get faster you will need finger action. You can use this for scales in 3rds and 6ths as well as straightforward ones. Try playing one hand legato and the other staccato as well.

Good luck and let me know how you get on!

I dont' have any specific advice, but besides lot of practice perhaps you should try doing other finger excerises on the piano (not scales) or find a piece which requires lots of finger movement.

don't worry about it too much (I also had a problem with scales!) biggrin.gif

'Just practise' it is my best advice!

Yeah practice!!!!
Try doing it slowly then increase the tempo.
Quote from my teacher(for good scales results):"Musically, steady tempo and rapid. Not to forget fast responce and NO mistakes"
