Yay! What do YOU think YAP?

I'm usually reticent to give my opinion of people's submissions, in case it scares people away. However, since you asked directly: better playing than on your piano recordings smile.gif.
recorderzrule
yey sent mine to you YAP, I'll make me give me your opinion!
YetAnotherPianist
Thanks smile.gif.

Two new additions to the site: a composition and the final movement of a Telemann recorder sonata, by recorderzrule.
saxlover
Are both those recorders played by recorderzrule?

Eek! forgot about the Sarabande! Must send that onto jane.... unsure.gif

No rush, my recording equipment is Archie-damaged, and I have to sort that out before I can do anything more!!!

QUOTE(YetAnotherPianist @ Dec 18 2005, 06:59 PM) *

Jane, I meant to say - the recording you sent was fine once I'd done noise removal on it.

Yay thanks!!!

I must have been extremely good this year, Santa not only brought me a new car (AND all the petrol seems t0 be free laugh.gif ) BUT he also brought me an Edirol R1.....

*Jane goes back to the recording studio, making sure Edirol is on very top shelf out of Archie's reach*

Do you have anything with a microphone - a tape recorder or a camcorder, for instance?

Yes I have a CD player but don't know if it has a built-in mic blink.gif

And I have a cam-corder too, but wouldn't I need to send the tape by snail-mail? blink.gif

Edit: sorry wrong quote!! wink.gif
YetAnotherPianist
You can get a lead to transfer the sound from the camcorder into your computer.

Have a look here:

Maybe if you accidentally clicked it and it didnt download properly? I had that happen once.
Car Expert
If you keep trying to access it, it might work (that's what I did).

Website's all-broked for me now (although wasn't 10 minutes ago).
Car Expert
Still fine for me. Did come up with an error when I went to a comments page about 10 minutes ago, but I refreshed it and it was fine.

Car Expert
Noodelz
I can't get into it now.
YetAnotherPianist
OK, that should have fixed it.

It was leaking mysql database connections until the server gave up and wouldn't allow any more. Now, it behaves nicely and closes them on all execution paths of the php code.
Trebor
Yay, works now; thanks YAP.
YetAnotherPianist
Latest addition to the site: schubertiad playing Schumann's Intermezzo from Faschingsschwank aus Wien smile.gif.
Oddball
