About ninety twelve years ago, when I played the clarinet, I tried to learn a piece by Tartini, or possibly Jacob, or possibly both. I knew it as "Tartini Jacob". It can't have been higher than around Grade 4 standard, but I do remember that I was desperate to learn it. All I can remember now is that it was quite arpeggiated. Or maybe not.

Any ideas? laugh.gif

It's the Concertino by Tartini, arranged for clarinet and piano by Gordon Jacob, and published by Boosey and Hawkes. It's made up of movements taken from Tartini's violin sonatas, and is a lovely work to play! smile.gif
