Help! I'm stuck on what to do. I've been playing the piano since I was 7 but my focus switched to the clarinet aged 13. I've now reached diploma level in the clarinet but have a passion to play piano again properly. I got to Grade 6 piano and have always longed to get to Grade 8, however want to learn jazz piano too. I know I can't do both as I need to concentrate on one thing but what?! Any advice would be very helpful.

i dont really have any particular advice here but just some moral support, i guess.....well, if you are interested in both, then doing them together wont be a problem. that is, if you have enough time to actually concentrate on both of them! anyways, what ever your decision is, good luck!

ye if you have enough time u shud try both!im doing classical piano and messing about with the jazz syallbus. you could always concentrate on getting grade8 classical while playing some jazz stuff then when uve done the exam start doing jazz exams!!
