Remember there's only one examiner but several thousand forum members so he's the one that should be intimidated.

Well, it's done, and for the first time I was not nervous, I went into that room full of energy and feeling really good. My pianist said that the two accompanied pieces were ace, I blew the examiner off her chair with the Lolita and I really had a good time !! The study was ok, a few errors but overall I think good. I was so knackered by the time it came to the scales, there were some errors there !! The sightreading was 'original' and the theory well I did know the composer was modern AND I knew it was an English composer, got to count for something !!
All in alll I feel good, maybe a pass MAYBE more will know on Tuesday,
THANKS TO ALL YOU FORUM FRIENDS for putting up with me over the last few weeks !!!

I did Francisco Gomez 'Lorito', Grovlez 'Sarabande et Allegro' and the Chris Allen Study . I'll let you know how I did, she was a fairly strict examiner I think !!
Can't sleep, perhaps this is a side effect of bananas !!

Thanks - I'll let you know on Tuesday morning - still feeling good about it this morning - so that's a good sign, bit too much red wine last night !!!
I hope I can bring out the bubbly on Tuesday, I hope the examiner wasn't too hard on me for my aural !! Apparently she quite likes the pieces to be played 'strictly' !! I can't help my character coming through, there's always rather a lot of me in my interpretation ..... hope that doesn't stand against me .........

Surely your examiner will allow you artistic licence? After all, how could anyone play something wild or madly romantic strictly? - if you felt good about how it all went, then it will have gone well, don't worry. As all those "I must have failed" posts show, people remember more of what didn't go right than what did - so you
must have been great.
How come you can get your results so quickly? I've always had to wait an age for ABRSM results....and an age for my Trinity certificate, but I digress. All the best for Tuesday.

I'm not sure I was right in saying Tuesday, I just assumed !! We're not in England, and guessed we'd have the results straight away !! It'll probably be after Christmas, unless they put us out of our pain before !!
