The weather where ai live is really horrible at the moment. We are having temperatures in the high 30's. With high humidity. It is up to the low 30s by 9am in the morning. One place about 8 hours drive from here (still in same state) is heading for a temperature of 43 degrees tomorrow.

We have had some really bad storms here lately. Something like 7 in 7 weeks. The one we had last night killed at least 2 people and injured heaps of people. We also had a storm tonight, it was actually 2 storms (1 of which was green, meaning it might have hail) and they merged right over us. Dad said he wouldn't be surprised if we had trees down.

In a storm last week our relatives lost power for 2 or 3 days. Apparently these storms are going to continue for the rest of the summer. But we are also apparently going to have a better than average rainfall. Which should be good considering we are still in the middle of a drought and still have heavy water restrictions. However we are on tank water, which is another plus, although we still have to conserve water we are not on the same restrictions.
