Ooh, best of luck. Whereabouts will the interview be?

I had an interview recently (awaiting outcome!). They didn't want to see any work I'd done and there was no opportunity to demonstrate interaction with children, etc. When you have your interview be prepared for questions like "What have you done to prepare for this interview?" (which I wasn't actually prepared for!) and "What qualities do you have that would benefit dealing with difficult situations?" etc.

Sounds like you're well prepared! Best of luck. Mine was at Cambridge. So many things I should have said, looking back! Ah well, I guess that's the way it goes... If I don't get in there am hoping for Brighton.

Exeter has a really good reputation for training courses, from what I remember...!

I have a friend who is at Exeter at the momebt who is doing EXACTLY the same course as me, she is really enjoying it!! I heard right from when I was starting my undergrad that Exeter was top in the country for Music and Primay (what I am doing) and it is still reasonably high, despite having its Music department closed down at the end of the last acedemic year!! I am sure that I will find out the pros and cons when I am there...but at the end of the day Exeter is a grest city, and I really like it there, and looking forward to living there!!!! (plus I will be just married when I start at Exeter too!!! Even more reason to look forward to it!!!!! biggrin.gif)

Hi ruthypegs

Things do seem to get really delayed this time of year. Fingers crossed you'll hear soon after Christmas, though. However, try not to spend Christmas worrying about it!

Have a good one!

Got the date.......19th Jan.....BUT I have an assessed ensemble performance on that day!!! GRRRR......dont know what to do. Going to talk to tutors this afternoon about it, and see if there is a possibility that the assessment can be re-scheduled. I hope that is what can be done. I don't want to have to ask a re-schedule AGAIN, as I don't want them to think that I don't want the position, as I want it so so so much! What do other suggest I do/say?
