Okay, I don't have the ABRSM grade 7 book - I have the ABC pieces separately. Now, if anyone with the grade 7 violin would just take a mo to help me out, I will be SO grateful!

Right, so for Piece A, I'm playing the Sonate in Em from Mozart. I have the entire Mozart volume, and after the Sonate, there is a page straight after, of a Minuet. I am not sure if this is part of the piece, which is somewhat of a problem, as I'm taking it in 4 DAYS!

So, could someone tell me? The last four bars of the piece contain:

Minim/4 quavers
8 quavers
Crochet/rest/chord [crochet]/rest
Chord

And the last four bars of the Minuet contain:

Quaver rest/5 quavers
3 crochets
Crochet/ crochet [chord]/ crochet [chord]
Chord

The piece ends in 4/4 time, the Minuet ends in 3/4 time.

So my question is, does the Sonate in Em (the four page A2 piece for grade 7) contain the Minuet? Or is it just the piece (ending A)? I sincerely hope it's the latter!

hello!

Em do you teach yourself? or have a you got a violin teacher? Because surely if you had a teacher they would tell you what to do? Why is the exam so soon? Have you had enough time to practice all you pieces properly?

Sorry about the questions i just feel kinda sorry for you since the exam alone can be nervewracking enough! Well good luck anyway in your exam and i hope you do well!

hi epitomessence,
you only play the allegro, no minuet. i have the book here and the piece ends with the chord at bar 209.
best of luck!
