Who else has this piece? I listened to it again today and I think it's brillinat. He sure knew how to write for wind instruments.

Do you know where I could find a recording of this piece?

OK, back on topic. As I say, I think it's brilliant, (apart from being for wind ensemble and by Mozart!) The only curious thing is the omission of the flute. blink.gif

I played French horn in his serenade for 12 wind instruments biggrin.gif Unless it was actually the 13 one, but someone was missing blink.gif

12 wind instruments is right, but you need a double bass too. It's sometimes performed with a contra-bassoon instead, but some of the movements need pizzicato in that part.

Yeah we had a double bass, so that must have been it. smile.gif
