Who else has this piece? I listened to it again today and I think it's brillinat. He sure knew how to write for wind instruments.

OK, back on topic. As I say, I think it's brilliant, (apart from being for wind ensemble and by Mozart!) The only curious thing is the omission of the flute.

12 wind instruments is right, but you need a double bass too. It's sometimes performed with a contra-bassoon instead, but some of the movements need pizzicato in that part.

Yeah we had a double bass, so that must have been it.
