I have been roped into a committee for music fundraising. Can anyone suggest ways for raising money?

Any ideas most welcome. I have to February 1/2 term to come up with a list of ideas and to chose my team to run the fundraising events !!!

I would like the ideas to be as musical as possible and the club we are raising money for caters for musical kids 8-18. We need to raise as much money as possible this year for a tour !!

Running a student concert or competition is always a good way, you can charge to enter, charge to watch, charge for refreshments and go around with a bucket shaking for more.

There is an organisation that runs a practisathon every year (is that the ab ) This way kids are sponsered to practise.
