Is your piano a he or a she?
My Yamaha U1 is a he.
Here's a picture and info on C110s if anyone is interested:

I'm rather content with an old piano! Mine's about 60 years old. Would never get rid of it no matter what!

Mine's probably double that, both the pedals don't work, lol....the G# 2 octaves above middle C is a little temperamental too.....

If I was to get a new piano, I'd go for an antique Steinway in Mahogany or Rosewood, or a Bosendorf (sp?) with extra keys!

Yamaha C110 is a rather modest upright model (hight 110cm) manufactured in China.
If you like it from the beginning, that's what counts, because the quality of Yamaha pianos is nothing to worry about.
Only the sound could get more harsh after some years of playing, but this can be managed by voicing.
I wish you pleasure.
Don't forget to have it tuned within 3 to 6 months.

The first good piano I ever owned was the Yamaha upright I bought brand new in 1975. Boy, was I proud of it, or what?
Enjoy it.

I like my Kemble and they seem to be pretty consistent as far as touch goes.. have played a few and the only one with a different feel is the one my teacher has (strange as it is the same model as mine) which has a heavier touch.

im not sure of the pricerange, but im grade 7 and i dont mind if its secondhand or new! although my piano is REALLY old (as in over 100 years!!) i love it and dont want to get rid of it! but there are around 4 or 5 keys that wont play half the time.

i like the yamaha ones though!
