I have that trouble too, especially when you have to put your thumb under to get the next note. Please help!! unsure.gif

I'm afraid the answer is just more practice: play them at a speed that you can get them correct with the metronome and then gradually increase the speed in small increments making sure that you can do it a few times in a row at each tempo before you continue. Also try playing them in pairs, i.e. play the first and second notes together, then the second and third together etc. that makes them more stable when you play them normally; try to get your wrist moving at a constant speed throughout rather than jolting around the turns: gather your hand upwards (or downwards on the way down) all the way along so that you don't have to jolt when it comes to the turn.

There is an arpeggio exercise in the Joan Last Freedom Technique books that really helps with the arpeggios I think its in book 2

I practice arpeggios in the following manner:

I play them with my left hand first, and then change to my right hand as the left hand plays the tonic, i.e. there is no space between the hand changes. Then I play them hands together twice, again with no gap so the whole exercise flows smoothly. I have been practicing them like this for quite a long time now and have found that they have really improved. tongue.gif
