does anyone know how to delete an empty bar from the middle of the piece using sibelius 3? it got a bit complicated because i had to change time sig. twice in 3 bars, i've ended up with a spare bar that i don't want can't figure out how to delete it, cut and paste just messes up because it moves the time signatures into the wrong place and then all the beats end up in the wrong place too :s

Does it not work if you just highlight it and click delete?

You have to ctrl+click then press delete to delete the bar all together, just highlighting and deleting only gets rid of the music on the staves.

nat, i presumed that it would delete the bars too, but infuriatingly it doesn't

I've not used it in a while but I remember having similar problems to you! Couldn't quite understand it really!

lol neither do i! i've done some weird and wonderful things like changing the colour of the paper and the background, changing the notes so that each pitch has a different colour etc then completely forgotten how to change it back again or figure out how i've done it!

I think it's file and then properties to change everything back

hehe that sounds so much simpler to what i ended up doing (something random to do with view i think :s can't remember)
