Full Version: Flipping/using Of Music Scores

I'm currently doing trinity ATCL(performance) and i am facing the problem of flipping pages.just wanna noe how u guys overcome this problem.do u guys memorize a short portion/minimize and photocopy/memorize the whole score/get a page turner????

For the ABRSM exams they're pretty strict about the use of photocopies, requiring written permission from the publisher. If you go that route make sure you've checked Trinity's fine print and complied!

What instrument are you talking about Cloudz?

For my organ dips (ABRSM, LCM, Trinity) I've always used a page turner. I find it is the least-stress route (assuming of course you don't get missed or double turns along the way wink.gif)

Note that Trinity's attitude towards photocopies is slightly more relaxed than ABRSM. The ABRSM insist you have written permission for any photocopies used (assuming you also have the original), whereas Trinity have a "fair use" policy.. Check out the relevant syllabuses for more information..
