Hey peeps. I was just reading the "Say Something Nice About the Person Above" thread. To be honest I don't know alot of you guys that well. Okay, you can click on people's names to read their profile, but I thought maybe we could have a thread for everyone to show people what they're like, so we can get to know each other better and see who likes the same things as us.
I suppose I better say stuff about me seeing as I've started this thread. If you've read my profile you might know some of this.

Well I'm Soph more often known as Musicbox. I play piano, flute and guitar. I'm known quite well for being loopy, which isn't surprising cos I do some VERY strange things when I want. I love dancing too (even though most people don't believe me when I tell them) and I do tap, riverdance and freestyle. I'm into drama alot too which I've been doing for four years now at the beloved PYT. That probably explains my over-confidence. So I've been in alot of shows. I'm also in an Operatic Society which puts on shows and we're doing The Mikado at the mo. I'm also known for my wierd dress sense and made-up words. I like lots of music types too; rock, metal, punk, classical, some pop's okay, the odd R 'n' B/Hip Hop's okay too and I love songs from musicals, I go to see shows quite alot. Oh yeah and I also like all the "home made music" if you get what I mean.

So there's a brief analasis of me! Hope to hear from you guys!

Um, in the summer i play a lot of cricket all day every day. I also love watching football and play sometimes. I like quite a lot of sports. To relax i like goin out ...the usual lol!

Im generally really relaxed, specially around people im comfortable with. I can be a bit shy with new people....but not for long! I love dogs - i have a 1 year old golden retriever called simba! yay!

umm bad things - i can lose my temper. never really lose it with friends, but just with random people if they p*ss me off. also i can be a bit lazy with schoolwork lol!

Hi, I'm Nicki! I am 16.

I love music and the opportunities it brings, and I have been playing the flute for 7 ish years. The flute is my first 'proper' instrument, and although I have had lessons in keyboard and piano, the flute is my only serious instrument now, especially because of the demands of school work. I however would like to start playing the piano, and recorders again I have played in a mass flute ensemble with James Galway on stage.

I am on a youth council type thing for the Philharmonia Orchestra.

I also love cats, and have 3 of my own.

I play netball, but am not very good at it. I did win an award for best improved player - but seriously I am terrible.

Negative points about me? Well, I get very stressed, as if you ask several members on here, they'll agree. Especially when it is exam time (either school/flute).

Well, I'm Kathryn, and I'm a peripatetic music teacher. I play the flute, piano, recorder and then I play the clarinet and sax (but not all that well!!!!!). I studied at the RNCM (on flute) and finished there a year and a half ago.

I'm blonde by hair colour and by nature!!! I'm very dizzy and scatty and if there's something that could be broken, you can guarantee I will! I'm 24 and am in a long term relationship with a fabulous man (better not show him this post else he won't be able to get through the door!!).

I like most sorts of music. I generally listen to radio 1 in the car..........love Chris Moyles on the way to work in the mornings!!

I love reading, and I'm always tired because I can't put a book down at night and go to sleep! I love movies and going to the cinema........especially horror movies, but I love a good old chick flick with my girly friends!

You can see what I play from my sig. I'm in loads of orchestras and stuff and hopefully I'll be in the NSSO from this year. I started piano when I was 4 and violin when I was 5 but basically I sucked at piano because I can't read bass clef. I want to do some kind of musicy job when I'm older but I need to get good first!
Other stuff I do includes rowing (I'm a cox), public speaking, debating...but school takes up a lot of time Cuz I'm doing GCSEs this year, unfortunately. I hate coursework.
What else? I am quite loud (or have strong opinions, either way), very short, have teeny hands (not good for music at all), enjoy lie-ins until past noon, and don't like TB.

Well... I'm Nick and I'm 15 I've got brown hair, hazel eyes and I'm about 5 foot 10/11 . I play viola, piano and French horn to pretty high standards and like quite a few different types of music - classical mainly though. I'm in the world famous Merseyside Youth Orchestra as well as the local authority's youth wind orchestra, and also a string quartet and brass quintet).

I have a calm disposition and, like Scotty Boy, will only fly off the handle if someone really really annoys me (to put it politely ). You get the picture? Good... now I really should be doing my archaeology homework

I like classical music to play, but mostly rock and stuff. I've ben trying to make a band for ages with me as the guitarded one, but I can never persuade anyone to do it, either because they are put off by my sort of music (My Chemical Romance, Alkaine Trio) or they are too shy. Methinks the latter.
Physically, I have long messy blonde hair, blonde in every sense of the word too. I used to be fairly podgy but for the last two years I have been able to eat as much as I like and all I do is grow. I'm pushing 6'2 now, which makes finding jeans with the correct inside leg measurement (35!!) really REALLY difficult.

I like latin, I find it really easy. It does help that we're only a class of 20, and the bloke who teaches it is really cool, he just goes off on vaguely related tangents and makes it dead interesting. Doing the GCSE thing with the complicated poems right now, mock on Weds, I think.

Dunno about greek, haven't tried it. Yet.

I'm Deborah, I play and teach the clarinet, and am the oldest person to have posted in this thread so far. I took Grade 8 clarinet in 1990 (before some of you were born!), and might even get around to doing DipABRSM this year. I dabble in piano (did Grade 7 in 1994, the final year of my music degree course) but am too scared of the Grade 8 scales to complete the set. I sing a bit too (church choir and choral society), and have even appeared in public playing the treble recorder.

I also work part-time for a very large company. I'm based from home so can spend all day listening to The Third Programme (sorry, Radio 3). You may have guessed from my signature that I'm into Wagner, but love loads of different composers' music. Bach and Mozart are permanent favourites; this week I'm into Finzi too.

I'm married to Husband - we met at the Proms, and celebrated our seventh wedding anniversary last October. No children, but I have a hamster.

Oh yeah I like animals quite alot too. I have three cats (well only one's actually mine) Finbar (my mom's which is why SHE has an irish boys name), Frodo (my sister, the LOTR fanatic's cat) and mine Felix. I used to have a pony, George, unfortunately he died in July. Then we've had endless hamsters, goldfish, rabbits you name it. By the way I was in Joseph too, I was the baker!!! Hi! I'm 17 and from the US. I spent a week in England about 2 years ago and would love to study abroad someday. I'm 5'2 with auburn hair that is naturally curly, though I usually wear it straight.

I've been playing the piano for 14 years and did grade 8 piano last year. I also sing but I've never done any singing exams. I'm in a choir (alto) and a small ensemble and I enjoy musical theatre as well. As far as listening to music goes, I like a variety.

School-wise, this is my last year of highschool, I'll be in college next year. Hopefully I will double major in music and communications.

I have an orange tabby named George and he gets loads of attention from everyone in my family. I'm allergic to cats but I love him anyway.

My name is Kayla (as if you couldn't work that out from my user name). I am 18 years old and I have Asperger's Disorder. I play the saxophone and the recorder, but have a friend who can play 11 instruments. I have completed year 12 twice. First time around I got an OP 12 (On a scale of 1-25 with 1 being the highest) whilst doing English, Mathematics B (second highest), Chemistry, Legal Studies, Ancient History and Business Communication and Technologies. In 2005, I did year 12 again but this time I did a mixture of school, tafe and uni. I started a uni degree in teaching but found that this wasn't for me and therefore have decided (and been accepted) to study nursing in 2006. I love word games, rebus puzzles, and Sudokus.

Do you know I don't have a particlular job in the cafe. What shall I be? The entertainer!? Hehe. Keep coming people this is interesting. By the way SuzyMac you seem very similar to another Suzy I know LOL. But by judging where you come from I don't think it is her! Hehe

Emma your cat is soooo cute It's so nice reading about everyone's cats. As you can probably tell, I am obsessed with cats. I adore them. My best friend is a very beautiful ginger and white cat, called Puff.

I'm 16 and doing AS levels in Music, French, Italian and English. Starting the viola was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I love it. My life revolves around rehearsals for various orchestras and ensembles. I really want to have a career in music. I also enjoy playing the piano. For the moment my flute playing is restricted to my Flute Quartet.
I like reading (I've just finished Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke - what an amazing book!) and taking my dogs for long walks on the beach. I am a huge Mahler fan - his symphonies are so powerful. I also enjoy Bach.
