I could really do with some extra lessons. I only see my piano teacher every fortnight which really works out less than this as she takes so many holidays. I therefore find huge gaps between most lessons when I don't really want the expense of a second teacher. Does anyone know of any decent sights on the 'net where piano teachers gladly give freely of their advice? I know there are a few on music THEORY but it's really the practical side I need. Through Storini I found Bernhard on pianostreet.com who gives great advice on what to play, but wonder if he also gives more general practical advice? Any advice/links welcome.
One would have to ask why a professional teacher might do this - it's their living they're not making, if you see what I mean... In any case, the advice that could be given would be so general as to be of little more use than you'd get off the more knowledgeable folk on here I suspect - without being able to see you in person that's all someone could do?
Perhaps you should look at finding a teacher who really can give you a fortnightly lesson?
Sorry, that sounds very negative, appreciate the dilemma you're in, but not sure if this is a way out!

Any general information is surely better than nothing at all and can only help. I have found web sites for all sorts of things I never dreamed existed including information I never dreamed I would get for free! So, yes, I feel it is a way out so will continue to look. Meanwhile Bernhard, at pianostreet is a very good beginning and I know many others agree.
