It was mentioned several months back that we could possibly manage to perform some form of simple string item for the concert. At the time there were sounds of interest from janexxx, suepea and pinkoi at it was sounding a bit like a potential quartet. Since then nothing has happened - probably due to my lack of organisation...

Are people still interested? If there were more people we could have a larger ensemble - either one-to-a-part or maybe with some strategic doubling? The best I can offer is viola approx grade 3-4.

Any ideas? I have also mentioned this on the AL board.

I'd be up for it as well! I need to sort out my entry to the concert, but I was hoping to do a Gr7 piece as a solo so I'd be delighted to join a string group!

That would be brilliant - I'll add you to my list. I'm mainly doing this on the AL board to try to keep the discussion all in one place.

If it's going to be a larger ensemble, I can join the viola section, as I am now planning to come (yay!)
