hey..thanx everyone for the very good advice..i'll remember it!!..i'm actually only startin' to learn to play the violin..so far i have only learnt the position of holding the violin and the bow..n only playing the A string!!.. ...hope anyone could give me a few guidences....

Don't worry, I only learned open A and D when i started, you'll soon learn more. My advice is practice what you're taught even if it doesn't seem much, the sooner you master that, the sooner you can learn more!
